solitude

It echoes around me,
the blackness,
the darkness,
the emptiness......
They lure me,

My heartbeat quickens,
My fingers go numb,
And then...

The silence begins to whisper,
Orotund and deep,
Of my tales,
Of my burnt past,
Igniting the ashes,
For a flame tomorrow.

The darkness begins to fade.

Well for this one I do want to say something. At first it truly reflected everything .... I for one can atleast claim too know atleast 2.33% of what is soltitude. But I have to disagree with the last para. Or maybe I just didn't understand what was going through your mind while you wrote it. Because for me that sounded a lot more like retrospection and not got much to do with the soltitude i am used to know. Or unless you are used to doing retrospection in soltitude; cause i do introspection, contempltion and other stuff while in soltitude.
